What is the Treatment Like?
At the start of each treatment, blood will be drawn from your arm and spun in a centrifuge to obtain the Platelet Rich Plasma. The PRP is then injected into the scalp across the area of thinning hair.
Monthly treatments are required for the first 3 months followed by a 6 month treatment and a follow-up at 1 year. Each treatment typically only takes 10-20 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
Downtime is minimal and only requires that you avoid washing your hair the night following treatment and that you avoid rigorous exercise for 24 hours.
