My interest in medicine and my passion for providing patient-centered care has been heavily driven by having a sibling with a disability. Given this personal experience, I strive to treat my patients with the same level of compassion, respect, and attention that I would give to my own family. I believe in taking a well rounded approach to addressing my patients’ needs (as often there are many factors contributing to their underlying condition). I take time to understand my patients’ concerns and to educate them so they feel empowered to be proactive regarding their health. It is my great joy to work with patients of all ages and to continue to care for them as time progresses. In addition, I enjoy working with my patients’ primary care and specialty providers to ensure that there is open communication and collaboration in ensuring that our mutual patients receive the best possible care. I derive great satisfaction and fulfillment in helping improve quality of life for my patients over time.
Dr. Godhwani specializes in asthma, allergy and immunology with an interest in allergic rhinitis, immune deficiency, eosinophilic esophagitis, chronic sinusitis, childhood eczema, asthma, chronic hives, food allergy, and drug allergy.
I grew up in New York State, but I now call Danbury, CT my home. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, traveling, writing and experimenting with new recipes.
Dr. Godhwani is a resident of Danbury, CT. She practices and sees Allergy & Asthma patients in the Danbury and New Milford, CT offices.
She identified 2 problems, one is allergies and the other was IGA levels. Then her prescriptions were on point. This enabled me to avoid frequent respiratory infections, antibiotics, and doctor visits.
Furthermore, she directed total allergy remedies, like air purifiers and dust. She attacked the problem from all angles. Her integrity is beyond reproach! If she has an problem that is outside the scope of expertise, she will point you in the right direction.
She is a real problem solver!" ~ E
