Medical Interests:
“My interest in medicine and my passion for providing patient-centered care has been heavily driven by having a sibling with a disability. Given this personal experience, I strive to treat my patients with the same level of compassion, respect, and attention that I would give to my own family. I believe in taking a well rounded approach to addressing my patients’ needs (as often there are many factors contributing to their underlying condition). I take time to understand my patients’ concerns and to educate them so they feel empowered to be proactive regarding their health. It is my great joy to work with patients of all ages and to continue to care for them as time progresses. In addition, I enjoy working with my patients’ primary care and specialty providers to ensure that there is open communication and collaboration in ensuring that our mutual patients receive the best possible care. I derive great satisfaction and fulfillment in helping improve quality of life for my patients over time.”
Personal Note:
“I grew up in New York State, but I now call Danbury, CT my home. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, traveling, writing, and experimenting with new recipes.”
