Dr. Kenneth Helmandollar is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in a wide range of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, blistering diseases, acne, as well as in the detection and treatment of skin cancers. Additionally, he performs surgical excisions of benign & malignant lesions and performs cosmetic procedures including filler & Botox injections.
Dr. Helmandollar is a dedicated and compassionate dermatologist originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Utah and went on to attend medical school at New York Medical College. Upon graduation, Dr. Helmandollar served as a physician in the United States NAVY. During this time, he was attached to Naval Health Clinic Quantico, Virginia where he worked across a variety of healthcare settings providing primary care to thousands of service members and their family members. Upon the conclusion of his military service, he then completed a dermatology residency at New York Medical College where he served as chief of dermatological surgery during his senior year. Throughout his residency, he treated patients from a multiple ethnic and cultural backgrounds equipping him with the skills necessary to effectively address conditions across a wide spectrum of skin types and color.
As a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Helmandollar strives to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care.
Outside work, he enjoys spending time in nature and doing activities with his family to include camping, hiking, skiing, and traveling.

I have seen Dr. Helmandollar in Ridgefield, CT twice for eczema and a body scan. He is great, I never feel rushed and he answers all of my questions. Nurses are always friendly and pleasant. He also sees my 8 year old daughter for eczema and she feels very comfortable and at ease with him. I would definitely recommend him and the office for dermatology care.

Very professional visit here recently. All staff and Doctor were kind, patient and ever so professional from waiting in the waiting room (for less than 5 minutes!) to the exam and bill pay window!
Had a small cyst removed by Dr. Kenneth Helmandollar and was so impressed. Honestly, I figured since it’s a corporate dermatology office, the care might be kind of “meh,” but I was totally wrong. He’s young, super easy to talk to, and has this calm, disarming way about him that makes you feel comfortable right away. When I asked about cosmetic stuff, he actually told me to hold off instead of trying to sell me on anything — which says a lot. He and his assistant also work really well together, and as a patient in the chair, you can feel that teamwork. Left feeling really glad I went. Highly recommend.

Exceeded my expectations by a mile. I arrived 20 minutes early and they brought me right in, i waited less then 5 mins for the dr to come in and diagnose me. He quickly identified my issue and offered me options, one being to address the issue right there. He was very clear. We agreed and within 15 mins my issue was resolved and I was out the door. Scheduling a follow-up was also extremely prompt with the staff at the front desk. Overall Great experience.
