Appointment Scheduler | 2 Openings | Ridgefield & Norwalk

Job Summary

We are a busy multi-specialty private medical practice seeking a professional team member with a “can-do” attitude and dedication to customer service satisfaction. As an appointment scheduler, you will be a key member of the team providing excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced high-volume call center. These are full-time positions in our Ridgefield or Norwalk office.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Answers all incoming telephone calls in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensures that all calls are handled in an expedited and efficient manner accurately and courteously.
  • Patient registration, insurance verification.
  • Schedule appointments based on availability.
  • Front desk duties.
  • Performs additional duties as requested.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-year medical reception experience.
  • Knowledge of: HMO, PPO, Managed Care, Third Party Administrator Plans, and Workers Compensation medical plans.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual- Spanish or Portuguese a plus!
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year medical setting and/or experience preferred
  • Electronic Health Record Computer experience
 
Education:
  • High School Diploma
 
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday (8 am to 5pm)
