Brow Lift

Also known as a forehead lift, a brow lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that improves the appearance of the facial region between the upper eyelids and the scalp, extending to the temples. A brow lift will reposition a low or sagging brow that is obscuring the upper eyelid. It also raises the eyebrows to a more alert and youthful position. Your brow lift will be individualized based on factors such as your skin, muscle tone, forehead, and height and bone structure while taking into consideration the conditions you wish to correct.

A brow lift may take two hours or more depending on the extent of the rejuvenation and methods used. Initial wound healing may take 5 to 10 days, at which time any sutures will be removed, if necessary. Results appear gradually over several weeks as swelling and bruising subside to reveal smoother forehead skin and a more youthful, restful appearance.
